PD Waterfront is a high impact project that has rejuvenated the Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan as a tourist hotspot. PD waterfront is an esplanade development at Port Dickson’s town center, facing the sea off Pulau Arang. This development project has an estimated GDV of more than RM 1 billion and is expected to be completed in phases. The emphasis of the PD waterfront project is towards in-bound tourism and to help further elevate Port Dickson as one of the top attractive tourist destinations in Malaysia. The project has brought in new infrastructure and opportunities, turning the quiet coastal town into a busy and attractive lifestyle center.
The first phase has been launched since 2010. This comprises sixty four units of 3 to 4-storey shop lots, twenty five units of 2 to 3-storey waterfront shops, a 75,000 square feet supermarket, a double storey seafood restaurant with up to 2,000 seat capacity and international branded fast food restaurants. Subsequent phases also include the completion of D’Wharf Hotel & Serviced Residence where visiting guests are able to enjoy the beautiful sea view.
The waterfront has held a number of local & international events and competitions since the completion of its earlier phases. The International F3000 Powerboat Challenge 2014 was held at PD Waterfront, Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan over the weekend of 20th – 21st September with the support of Negeri Sembilan Tourism Board.
